وَٱلۡفَجۡرِ
١

Pela aurora,

وَلَيَالٍ

عَشۡرٖ

E pelas dez noites,

وَٱلشَّفۡعِ

وَٱلۡوَتۡرِ

E pelo par e pelo ímpar,

89:4

وَٱلَّيۡلِ

إِذَا

يَسۡرِ

E pela noite, quando se retira (que sereis castigados)!

هَلۡ

فِي

ذَٰلِكَ

قَسَمٞ

لِّذِي

حِجۡرٍ

Porventura, não há nisso um juramento adequado, para o sensato?

أَلَمۡ

تَرَ

كَيۡفَ

فَعَلَ

رَبُّكَ

بِعَادٍ

Não reparaste em como o teu Senhor procedeu, em relação à (tribo de) Ad,

إِرَمَ

ذَاتِ

ٱلۡعِمَادِ

Aos (habitantes de) Iram, (cidade) de pilares elevados,

ٱلَّتِي

لَمۡ

يُخۡلَقۡ

مِثۡلُهَا

فِي

ٱلۡبِلَٰدِ

Cujo similar não foi criado em toda a terra?

وَثَمُودَ

ٱلَّذِينَ

جَابُواْ

ٱلصَّخۡرَ

بِٱلۡوَادِ

E no povo de Samud, que perfurou rochas no vale?

وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ

ذِي

ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ

١٠

E no Faraó, o senhor das estacas,
