لَآ
أُقۡسِمُ
بِهَٰذَا
ٱلۡبَلَدِ
١

Bu şehre (Mekke'ye) yemin ederim; ki sen bu şehirde oturmuşsun.

وَأَنتَ

حِلُّۢ

بِهَٰذَا

ٱلۡبَلَدِ

وَوَالِدٖ

وَمَا

وَلَدَ

Doğurana ve doğurduğuna and olsun ki;

لَقَدۡ

خَلَقۡنَا

ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ

فِي

كَبَدٍ

İnsanoğlunu, zorluklara katlanacak şekilde yarattık.

أَيَحۡسَبُ

أَن

لَّن

يَقۡدِرَ

عَلَيۡهِ

أَحَدٞ

İnsanoğlu, kendisine kimsenin güç yetiremeyeceğini mi sanıyor?

يَقُولُ

أَهۡلَكۡتُ

مَالٗا

لُّبَدًا

"Yığın yığın mal tüketmişimdir" diyor.

أَيَحۡسَبُ

أَن

لَّمۡ

يَرَهُۥٓ

أَحَدٌ

O, kimsenin kendisini görmediğini mi zannediyor?

أَلَمۡ

نَجۡعَل

لَّهُۥ

عَيۡنَيۡنِ

Biz onun için iki göz, bir dil ve iki dudak var etmedik mi?

وَلِسَانٗا

وَشَفَتَيۡنِ

Biz onun için iki göz, bir dil ve iki dudak var etmedik mi?

وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُ

ٱلنَّجۡدَيۡنِ

Biz ona eğri ve doğru iki yolu da göstermedik mi?
